Former President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.
According to Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant on New Media to President Buhari, the Ex-President embarked on the visit to brief Buhari about his recent international assignment in Mali.
Bashir made this known in a tweet on his Twitter handle.
Goodluck Jonathan Visits Buhari
You will recall that Ex-President Jonathan headed the mediation team of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) on Mali’s lingering political crisis.
In a tweet, President Buhari confirmed that he received a comprehensive report from Jonathan, who was the ECOWAS Special Envoy to Mali.
He opined that the brief was on the political situation in the country.
