Few days after Rano Emirate of Kano State lost its Emir, Tafida Abubakar, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has appointed a new Emir for the kingdom.
In the announcement made by Abba Anwar, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Ganduje, Kabiru Mohammed Inuwa the district head of Kibiya now replaces late Abubabar who died after he was admitted of an undisclosed ailment.
74 years old late Abubakar was the first Emir of Rano after the former single Kano emirate was split into four by the state Governor.
Abubakar was who was survived by two wives, and eleven children was buried on Saturday, a few hours after he died in accordance with the Islamic rites.
