The Fulani ethnic group has expressed readiness for Nigeria’s breakup. According to the National Secretary of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhassan Saleh, the Fulanis are more prepared for Nigeria’s break up than any other ethnic groups.
The Miyetti Allah stated this a few days after the southern governors banned open cattle grazing in the entire seventeen southern states of the country, amid the insecurity caused by clashes between herders and farmers.
Saleh, who spoke on behalf of Miyetti Allah, said the Fulani ethnic group is ready for division of the country, adding that the Fulani herders are not the problem facing the country as assumed in some quarters.
He opined that the Fulani herders are not the ones looting the treasury and engaging in criminal activities, including cybercrime and kidnappings.
EveryEvery.ng had reported that the leader of Ilana Omo Oodua, Professor Banji Akintoye, has alerted the Southwest governors over a looming danger in the region.
Nigeria’s Break Up
Akintoye, a renowned historian, revealed that terrorists had invaded Yorubaland. He urged the governors to be vigilant and wake up to secure the region.
Meanwhile, Akintoye said, he had earlier sent a very desperate letter to the six Governors of the Southwest to alert them about the impending escalation of the ongoing invasion of the Yorubaland.
According to him, the combination of Fulani terrorists, Boko Haram and ISIS, has occupied Niger State, which would provide easy access to the southwest region through Kwara Kogi States.
Akintoye, who further referred to the statement issued by the US, warning that ISIS has infiltrated Southern Nigeria, urged all the Southwest Governors to come together to give the needed response to the danger that threatens to engulf the region.
