Nigerian ex-international and football legend, Kanu Nwankwo has described his wife, Amara as God’s gift as he also thanked God for making his dreams come true.
Kanu, who made this known in a post via his Instagram handle posted a photo of himself and his wife in celebration of their 17th wedding anniversary.
He also expressed optimism that their union shall bring an amazing future.
“17 years strong Happy Anniversary wifey. @amarakanu I love you. You are what your name is Amara Gods gift and I thank God my dream came true.Cheers to an amazing future”.
Kanu Celebrates 17th Wedding Anniversary
Kanu is a Nigerian former professional footballer and a member of the Nigerian national team.
Before his retirement, he played for Nigerian team Iwuanyanwu Nationale, Dutch side Ajax, Inter Milan of Italy, and English clubs Arsenal, West Bromwich Albion and Portsmouth.
Kanu, who won a UEFA Champions League medal, a UEFA Cup medal, three FA Cup medals and two African Player of the Year awards amongst others is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
