Hours after her release, Treasure Nduka shared her ordeal with the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS) after she was abducted by them while in a protest in Ojuelegba, Lagos.
Recall that a viral video of a lady being dragged into the station by SARS officers surfaced the internet on Monday. After investigations were carried out, it was discovered that the victim was Treasure Nduka but she was not the only one who was arrested at that time, there were two other ladies in SARS custody as well.
Family, friends and well-meaning Nigerians rallied around physically and on socilal media in a search for her and according to reports the officers of the Area C police command,Ojueleba denied having her in their custody until very late in the night when Lawmakers had to intervene.
Treasure has come out to narrate her experience in the hands of the police officers, share her injuries and encourage Nigerians to keep fighting for a better country. She said,
“This is part of the bruises I sustained from the experience at Area C police command, Ojuelegba. My mother didn’t believe they could do this to her baby. She is now pro”
She also said the Police officers tried to pin a crime she did not commit on her and this pushed her to encourage the Nigerian youth not to relent in their fight for an end police brutality.
“I want you guys to fight and this fight involves every single one of us. This is no longer about how you look because these people were ready to frame me for a crime I did not commit. Fight for our future and those of our kids” she continued.
