A female #ENDSARS protester who was sighted during the ENDSARS protest in Abuja with a leg has now received a prosthetic leg plus other benefits from Nigerians.
The lady identified as Jane Obiene, warmed the heart of many after a photo of her in clutches standing in solidarity with other protesters served rounds on social media.
This got Nigerians to make donations for her with over three million naira raised in less than three hours.
In new reports by Twitter Influencer, Aproko Doctor, the money has been duly utilized to purchase the prosthetic leg.
The Nigerian Twitter influencer posted a video and pictures of the lady having received the prosthetic leg and trying it out.
According to him, the sum of N1 million will be given to Jane to finance her business while the remaining fund will be used to get an accommodation for her.
The popular #ENDSARS protester has since taken to microblogging platform, Twitter to express her joy.
She wrote, “Wow! I don’t know where to start from, I’m not the type for big speeches. I’m overwhelmingly ecstatic, this is a moment I’ll never forget. I can say Christmas came early for me“
Meanwhile, the second round of the #ENDSARS protest has began today, Monday, 7th of December with young Nigerians taking to the streets of Abuja and Lagos in their numbers.
