Bobrisky has on Instagram, threatened to slap fans and other Nigerians who asked the social media sensation why she did not go out for the #EndSARS protest with fellow public figures in Lagos yesterday.
Yesterday, there was a march led by artistes, Falz and Rundown to call for the end of police brutality especially targeted at young Nigerians. Several citizens joined across Lagos, Abuja, Edo and Imo including some celebrities like Tiwa Savage, Toke Makinwa, Tacha, Rudeboy, Mr Macaroni, Prince Nelson etc. being this turnout, some Nigerians went to accost Bobrisky, asking why the controversial crossdresser did not join the protest and in response, Bobrisky wrote,
“Don’t let me slap u o ! Everything must be celebrity to move first rubbish. Thanks to @tokemakinwa and @tiwasavage. God bless u guys!”
Following up with this comment, Bobrisky also shared a story post that read,
“Those of you coming to my page to say I didn’t go out to protest to END SARS, pls what happen to ur own leg? But if it’s big broda now you all will use ur feeding money to vote people who will still ignore you to take pictures with them… after making them a celebrity.”
Bobrisky is not the only celebrity who has asked Nigerians to get up and fight for themselves as yesterday while marching on the streets of Lagos, Tiwa Savage chastised the Nigerian youth and asked them not to ‘rely on celebrities’ for serious issues but when it comes to Big Brother Naija they would be willing to take the lead.
