Popular Nigerian actor and lawmaker, Desmond Elliot, has joined other Nigerians today to say no to Police/SARS brutality.
Desmond Elliot reacted to the ongoing issue of Police/SARS brutality today in the Lagos States House of Assembly as Nigerian youths stormed the premises in their numbers while few were allowed into the house.
The Nollywood veteran actor stated that if the Police unit (SARS) is not working for the people then it should be disbanded if they call for it.
He said, “If the unit we set up is not working for the people, and the people are calling for it to be disbanded, then let us do what they’re saying”
Meanwhile, the Lagos State House of Assembly has called on the Federal Government to stop the activities of SARS.
