Mathias Ekweremadu slumps, dies
Everyevery.ng gathered that a younger brother to former Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Mathias Ekweremadu, slumped at the Enugu House of Assembly.
He was quickly rushed to a hospital, but he could not make it, and he was confirmed dead on arrival.
Mr Mathias, before his death, was the Enugu State Commissioner for Transport.
According to a source, he was holding meetings with the House of Assembly Committee on Transport, led by its chairman, Hillary Ugwu (Enugu East Rural) when the sad incident occurred.
Former Senate President, Alhaji Bukola Saraki, has mourned the passing of his colleagues younger brother.

Saraki prayed that the Almighty God grants the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
He also prayed for solace for the people of Enugu State.
