Nigerian Hip Hop singer Eedris Abdulkareem has questioned the arrest of the ‘wanted’ suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
Abba Kyari was earlier suspended as the DCP of the Nigerian Police Force after his alleged involvement with arrested Cyber Crime syndicate Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi was arrested at a Dubai hotel in June 2020 and extradited to the United States to face criminal charges involving money laundering and Cyber Fraud.
During the investigation, Ray Hushpuppi mentioned the name of the Nigerian ‘Super Cop’ as an accomplice to his various crime, an accusation Kyari denied.

In a turn of events, the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Monday declared Abba Kyari wanted for being linked to a drug cartel.
The suspended DCP has since been reportedly arrested by the anti-drug agency but pictures of his arrest are yet to surface online.
Eedris Abdulkareem has taken to his Instagram page to criticize the absence of the pictures of the supposedly arrested officer online.
Abdulkareem shared a picture collage that read, “When will pictures of Abba Kyari in handcuffs surface the internet??? Until I see that pix, I won’t believe any news of his arrest.”
In another post mocking the Kyari, he wrote, “Supercop in the morning, criminal moonlighting at night. A life of layered pretence and lies.”
With the picture and video evidence released by the NDLEA coupled with the ongoing investigation of money laundering, the ‘Super Cop’ might end up not being super.
