Dowen College suspects have been confirmed to be under the custody of the police, who have been making several efforts to arrest all involved parties in the death of Sylvester Oromoni (Jnr).
However, there are only three out of the five suspects currently under the watch of the Lagos State Police Command, as attempts are ongoing to get the rest.
Hakeem Odumosu, the Commissioner of Police in LagosState, communicating this information to the public, revealed that the force is presently being assisted with the needed clues to conduct proper inquisition into Sylvester’s passing.
The tragic death of the 12-year-old student had since triggered concerns from Nigerians, who, in turn, are pressuring the police to fish out those responsible for the death of the promising child.
Odumosu disclosed that three of the five students from DowenCollege mentioned by Sylvester before he died are already in custody and cooperating with the police in their findings.
The Officer further revealed that those in the police net are critical to their investigations. They are also pressing to examine the deceased’s body to ascertain the actual cause of death.
