Brother Of Nollywood Actress Died Two Days After Her Death
The family of Orisabunmi, a popular Yoruba Nollywood actress has been in another mourning due to the passing away of his brother, Steve Onishola.
Recall that Orisabunmi (60) died a few days ago after a brief illness which was announced by the President of of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), Bolaji Amusan aka Mr Latin.
Barely two days after the death of the popular Nollywood actress, his brother, Steve Onishola (71) also gave up the ghost.
Mr Onishola who was the technical director of Kwara Falcons Basketball Club of Ilorin died on Thursday, 7th of January, 2021.
Chairman, Kwara State Basketball Association Joseph Adeyemo confirmed the death in a statement quoted by the News Agency of Nigeria.
The statement reads, “We’re very sad by this unfortunate incident; in fact we can’t find the right word to use.
“Coach Steve was the symbol of basketball in Kwara. He was one of the most brilliant coaches of the game in Nigeria.“The entire basketball family extends its deepest condolences to the family and love ones of the late coach.
Steve Onishola was part of the Falcons’ team that secured promotion to the elite division in 2013. The deceased was also a member of the silver-winning team in the 2018 edition of the Kwese Premier League.
His death came as a shock just like that of his younger sister Orisabunmi which occurred on Tuesday, January 5.
Orisabunmi, a popular Yoruba Nollywood actress died 4 months after the death of his husband, Jimoh Aliu who is also a veteran thespian.
