It was sad news for Nigerians as they mourn veteran broadcaster, Dan Foster yesterday, 17th of June, 2020. Tributes have since been flowing in for the Nigerian-American radio host.
Dan Foster worked for the likes of Cool FM, Inspirational FM, and City FM in Lagos after returning from the United States where he had worked with other broadcasting stations.
The popular radio host was also a judge along with Kate Henshaw and Dede Mabiakwu on Nigerian Idol show. The award-winning broadcaster has since been mourned by Nigerians especially entertainers in the country. ‘Big Dawg’ as he is fondly called died of coronavirus.
Dotun Cool FM Pays Tribute to Dan Foster
One of the famous OAP in Nigeria is Dotun Cool FM. The self-styled ‘Energy Gad’ took to Twitter to share his experience with the late veteran broadcaster, Dan Foster.
Dotun in his tweet said the late broadcaster helped to save his job and kept him regardless of his beginning. He appreciates him for what he has become today.
In his words ”Dan Foster put it all in for me and us at Cool FM. What an OAP… The best morning show host till date in Nigeria. This is a big loss”
