A surgeon has narrated the sad story of a teenager allegedly shot by SARS while running errands for her grandma.
The medical practitioner on Twitter as @finest_surgeon took to the microblogging platform to share this story.
According to him, the young girl was caught between the police and hoodlums.
In an attempt to ensure her safety, she hid behind a nearby shop where the officers found and allegedly shot her multiple times.
Additionally, he gave details of her wounds stating the unnamed girl was shot in her thigh and back.
His tweet read,
“My patient, 14yr old girl, sent by grandma to buy something just outside was caught in between policemen chasing hoodlums. She went to hide behind a shop in the street, a policeman found her there and shot her 4 times!
That’s 4 times at a 14yr old obviously harmless, defenceless and armless innocent civilian. I need the most creative curse for this policeman wherever he is. She’s very stable now, she was very lucky”
Following up on the girl’s state now, the surgeon reports that she is stable and receiving medical care.
