Dino Melaye, a determined politician with a clear vision for Kogi State, has disclosed some of the trials he has faced on his journey to becoming the next governor.
During an interview with Arise Television, Melaye described how the state has become a hotbed of tension since the All Progressives Congress (APC) took power seven years ago.
Despite the numerous challenges he has faced, including four assassination attempts and multiple court cases, Melaye remains committed to his goal of redeveloping Kogi State.
As he put it, Kogi is like an “evil forest” that needs to be transformed, and he hopes to be the leader who can make that happen.
One of Melaye’s main priorities is to unite Kogi State, which has been torn apart by political divisions and conflicts.
Through his slogan “One Kogi, One Destiny,” he is promoting the idea that the people of Kogi have a common destiny and can only achieve their goals through unity.
As the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election, Melaye is not shying away from the challenges ahead.
He sees his candidacy as an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of Kogi’s citizens, and he is determined to succeed no matter what barriers lay in his path.
