Corps Members have been advised to adhere strictly to all the COVID-19 safety protocols.
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim gave the charge.
Ibrahim stated this on Monday while addressing the 2020 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1A Corps Members deployed to Edo State.
The event was held at the new NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Okada, Edo State.
He said the COVID-19 pandemic is a global challenge that must not be trivialized.
Ibrahim stressed that theCOVID-19 guidelines were effective in combating the pandemic.
He, however, commended the Federal Government, the PTF and NCDC for providing all the needed support for the safe reopening of Orientation Camps nationwide.
Ibrahim urged the corp members to contribute towards promoting unity.
Meanwhile, an Oath of Allegiance was administered on 627 Corps Members by Justice AT Momodu on behalf of Edo State Chief Judge, Honourable Justice EA Idigin.
