Details on the killing of popular Senator Bala Na’Allah‘s son emerges as the suspected killers earlier apprehended by the police narrated the whole incident.
The son, Captain Abdulkarim Bala Na’Allah, was reportedly murdered at his Malali GRA residence in Kaduna State two weeks ago following the criminal elements’ invasion.
Abdulkareem, Senator Na’Allah’s first born-son, was discovered lifeless in his room, where reports revealed that there were signs of struggles before his final passing.
The Kaduna Police Command, who carried out series of investigations to ascertain the cause of death, successfully apprehended and paraded two suspects.
Suspects Give Details of Adulkareem’s Death
The suspects, Bashir Muhammad, 23, and Nasiru Salisu, 27, confessed their involvement in the gruesome killing of the promising captain.
Responding to questions from reporters at the Police Headquarters in the state, the main suspect, Bashir Muhammad, admitted his initial intention was to gain access to the vehicle of the now-deceased Abdulkareem.
Mohammad, a resident of Rabah road in Kaduna North Local Government Area, stated he had no idea who the victim was initially, noting that, “One day, we passed in front of his house, including Nasiru, me (Bashir) and Usman DanKano, when we saw a car parked inside the deceased home.”
Mohammad revealed the trio had to manoeuvre their way through the rooftop to access the compound by pulling out the nails.
Unfortunate for the deceased, he had a serious altercation with the assailants who strangled him in the process.
One of the suspects, Nasiru Salisu, 27, informed the press that Bashir Mohammad involved him in operation, adding that the third person, Usman DanKano, was still at large.
Parading the 25 suspects, Kaduna spokesman, ASP Muhammad Jalige, said the suspects have confessed to the crime and stated that the vehicle stolen was sold in the Niger Republic at N1 million with the proceed shared amongst them.
