Davido‘s former Gateman, Father, a.k.a Fatherdmw is planning to one day take over the governorship seat on which Babajide Sanwo- Olu is currently sitting on in Lagos State.
Father who has overnight turned to become an internet sensation with his recently acclaimed fame on Instagram while always being featured on Evia Apio, a.k.a evssofficial’s Instagram live videos due to his hilarious nature.

Father even went ahead to shoot his shots at the upcoming British model on her Instagram live video.
Father’s story has been one which has been attributed as “from grass to grace.” In an interview with VanzyTv, he described his journey as one that cannot be written without the names of people like his former boss, Davido, and popular Nigerian musician, Zlatan.
He said he started off as a commercial motorcyclist around the environs of Lekki, Lagos state before he became Davido’s gateman.
In the interview, he said he left Maiduguri disguised as a woman in hijab, makeup, and artificial buttocks in a bid to run away from Boko Haram terrorists who usually invade villages to take men to join the terrorist group forcefully.
Davido’s former Gateman said, the name Father was gotten from his elder brother’s nickname, father, and people in his village started calling him ‘small father.’ From there, he took up the name. His real name is Mohammed, but his mother calls him Bashiru.
Father’s journey to comedy, according to him, was attributed to Zlatan, who once told him he is funny, put him up on his Instagram page, and asked his followers to follow Father.

The Davido’s former Gateman, at some point, Zlatan was giving N20,000 to anyone who followed him on Instagram. Davido also gave him a shout out on Instagram, and his followers skyrocketed.
He presently has over 300,000 followers on Instagram. He said he started doing comedy skits with comedians like Broda Shaggi, Sydney Talker, among many others before he ventured into his own independent comedy skits.
He said on a good day, he told his former boss that he wanted to go back to school, and Davido paid for his flight to Maiduguri and back to get his papers to help his start with the enrollment process.
He also hopes to attend Adeleke University in Osun state in a bid to secure his future ambition of becoming Lagos state’s governor.
