Popular Nigerian Artist David Adeleke known as Davido, his cousin Bamidele Adeleke has been at war on Twitter for days now since his cousin declared ambition to run for Governor.
The musician has not minced his words in venting on his cousin over his decision to run for the Osun state Governorship seat.
Remember that Davido’s uncle and former senator Ademola Adeleke who lost the 2018 election to APC candidate and the current Governor of the state Gboyega Oyetola, is also running for the 2022 election.
This means that Bamidele Adeleke and Ademola Adeleke will be going head to head in the PDP primaries to fight for the party’s governorship ticket.
Since he made open his ambitions, we reported Davido has called out his cousin in a series of tweets where he claimed the cousin hired people to write articles against him, with his aunt and late mother disrespected.
Bamidele Replies Davido
The cousin Bamidele in a tweet thread he said he already sent to the musicians Whatsapp but did not deliver, said he also lost his mum at a tender age and would not stoop so low to disrespect Davido’s mum, neither write nor say anything against his aunt Vero.
However, Bamidele declared the 29-year-old ‘king of social media, and he knows people take it upon themselves to write anything for clout.
He also claimed the ’30BG’ fans have been all over his timeline threatening him, while some even told him to die; he believes his nephew did not send them to do that.
“I respect your decision and choice to support Uncle Demola and that is the beauty of democracy. It is possible we can all make our individual choices without rancour and bitterness. We can all follow different paths and still live as one big, happy family,” he added.
Bamidele noted that the people of Osun state deserves the best and will vote for who they so deem fit.
Davido replied to the tweet, “For ur mind ur plan dey work abi … werey Dele u dey crase ..”
