Obaseki goes into self-isolation. This comes after he reportedly had close contact with the governor of Bauchi state, Senator Bala Mohammed and the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari. The duo has recently tested positive to Corona Virus in the last 48 hours.
Also, governor Obaseki has sent in his samples for the test.
Obaseki goes into self-isolation
Releasing an official statement on behalf of the governor, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie says, “The governor has gone into self-isolation after the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed and Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, tested positive for coronavirus.
“The governor had met Senator Mohammed at the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) and National Economic Council (NEC) meetings. He also visited Mr. Kyari.”
As at now, the governor is not showing any symptoms of the virus and had since taken all the measures to protect himself and all the people around him.
