BATTLE OF HITS (SARZ VS SHIZZI)
Osabuohien Osaretin popularly known as Sarz, a nigerian record producer and also known for the tag ‘sarz on the beat’ at the beginning, middle or end of all his music productions. Sarz popularity grew overtime having produced for artistes like multiple award winning and grammy nomiee, Wizkid in ‘Jaiye Jaiye’ featuring Femi Kuti, Niniola’s ‘Ibadi’, Wande coal’s ‘Ashimapeyin’, Wurld’s ‘Trobul’ and a host of other beats attributed to his name and career.
On the other hand, Oluwaseyi Akerele popularly known as shizzi, a record producer and songwriter also known with the tag ‘shizzi magic fingers’ who has produced for award winning artistes like Davido’s first hit single “dami duro”, Wizkid’s “love my baby”, Mc Galaxy’s “Nek Unek” ft Davido and a plethora of other hit beats attributed to him.
The two phenomenal music producers took timeout to engage and entertain their fans and followers on an instagram live video on a battle for who has the most hits. It was quite obvious that these two producers have come a long way in the music industry having produced for not just indigenous artistes but for international acts as well.
Though we would all agree that these producers are exceptional in their craft, ine has to be more of a badass than the other.
Shizzi no doubt is a versatile producer whose beats have been attributed to more of Davido’s earliest hits. Sarz also, is quite versatile with more of his beats attributed to Wizkid’s hit.
At some point, it became a Davido vs Wizkid thing to the viewers but based on popular votes and comments in various social media platforms, Sarz took the lead on this one.
MASTERKRAFT VS PHEELZ
Due to the excitement from Sarz and Shizzi’s battle, Masterkraft and Pheelz set up another battle.
Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke popularly Known as Masterkraft, a nigerian record producer, pianist, disc jockey and songwriter and Philip Kayode Moses a.k.a Pheelz Mr Producer/ Rhythm and cool and young, a Nigerian record producer and songwriter decided to entertain on their instagram live videos for who has the most hits.
Masterkraft’s versatility was seen having worked with gospel artistes like Tim Godfrey and secular artistes like flavour n’abania, wizkid, banky w, etc while Pheelz who some people called a newbie in the industry has so far, done so well for himself by producing most of Olamide’s hit singles, Fireboy’s LTG Album, Teni’s billionaire single, etc.
On the IG live video, pheelz took to trash talking on some of Masterkraft’s songs like Life is eazi by Mr. Eazi while Masterkraft went on to use the YouTube views of some of these songs to boost his prowess but Pheelz dismissed this claim by saying he wasn’t the video director. (LOL)
Masterkraft has clearly been in the game longer than Pheelz. He went further to entertain his viewers by bringing a stripper to his home studio. At some point, he started playing FIFA games (hahahahaha).
The viewers in the comment section dissed Pheelz because according to them, he made it seem like it was an Olamide vs Masterkraft battle due to his production history.
Masterkraft started off well in the beginning though he still trash talked some artistes’ songs that pheelz produced. Artistes like Teni, Naira Marley, etc telling Pheelz to tell them things like, “if they want to grow bigger in the industry, that they should call him”. Pheelz eventually caught up with him but some viewers did not like Pheelz’s approach, some said he couldn’t accept defeat.
At the end of the IG live video, Masterkraft went offline without notifying his fans and viewers (that was so rude of him though).
