The proposal to invite Chinese doctors to help Nigeria with the Coronavirus pandemic has recieved a knock from the Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives.
The federal government had hinted on its plans to bring in some medical prectitionals to help the countyr cope with the pandemic.
The Caucus leader, Ndudi Elumelu has maintained that such move will do the country no good, but to further risk the lives of the nation’s citizens.
The group however advised the President, Muhammadu Buhari to ” rescind his decision and jettison all plans to import doctors from China at this critical time.”
