Charles Oputa, who is popularly known as Charly Boy, finally put the argument about his sexuality to rest.
He addressed the argument about his sexuality in a recent interview with Reality Star, Uriel Oputa. He revealed that although he could be gay, he isn’t.
The controversial superstar also confessed that he has a feminine side, which he calls Linda.
He emphasized that if he were gay, he would have been supporting the fight for gay rights in Nigeria.
“I have a feminine side, I called Linda. And I remember when I was doing the Charly Boy show, I had this character I always played called Miss Zigizigi. I picked that up when I was in the United States.”, he revealed.
He made more vulnerable confessions, “I have my feminine ways, and sometimes it can get confusing if you don’t know who I am.”
As regards the gay rumours, he reveals he is well aware of them.
“A lot of people have said I am gay.”, he confessed.
“I could be but I am not. Because if I was gay I would be carrying my placards going around and fighting for gay rights.”, he concluded.
