Channels TV Reporter Called Out By Wife
A Channels TV reporter, identified as Pius Irojah-Angbo has been called out by his wife for domestic violence.
The wife, a medical doctor took to social media to open up about her physically abused marriage.
According to her, she has been married to Mr Pius for six years and has been turned to a punching bag by the husband all these years.
The woman decided to open up after another recent beating, four weeks after the delivery of their fourth child through caesarian section.
She alleged the husband of going from woman to another, which made her to tell him to quit the reckless on woman and focus on their four kids which made him pounce on her.
She also talked about how the husband sat on her while her pregnancy was three months old and then got the beating of her life.
In her words, “Just because I told him to spend wisely and not on women so recklessly, considering that we have four children and these children have to be trained, that’s why I got this beating”
“He tried to strangle me and all that, sat on my incision and everything. My children were crying” she added.
She also stated how she stumbled on a prayer request written by the husband where he thanked God for saving him from hatred and abuse for women.
Channels TV, where the alleged wife-beater works have now reacted to the viral video.
In a statement on Channels TV Twitter page, it was said that investigation has began on the allegation.
“Channels Television does not condone violence against women or anyone in general.
“The domestic violence matter reported against one of our reporters is being investigated and appropriate action will be taken”
