Nigerians have started a new campaign for DJ Switch, the Disc Jockey who streamed the Lekki Tollgate shooting. It would be recalled that some peaceful unarmed protesters were shot at my men in Nigeria military uniform.
October 20, 2020 was a black day for the #EndSARS protesters across Nigeria as many lives were recorded lost. The Disc Jockey who was on ground while the shooting went on has since then faced difficulties.
Reports say she is presently in Canada where she has been granted asylum. According to her, she has gotten several death threats and many are calling for her to face the full wrath of the law.
Nigerians have however initiated a campaign for her on social media platforms. The campaign is meant to stress that she did not make any allegations against the government or the military.
This is coming after she was accused of lying about protesters being killed during the #EndSARS protest in Lagos. Some Twitter users are making tweets to clear her of the accusations against her.
