The Catholic Bishop Conference of Nigeria has responded to the alarm raised by Boss Mustapha over the number of bed spaces in isolation centres across the country.
Mustapha disclosed that the conference decided to offer over 400 hospitals as COVID-19 isolation centres across the country.
Earlier, Mustapha, who is also the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 had told journalists in Abuja that the isolation and treatment centres in the country are running out of bed spaces.
He said there are efforts to increase the number of treatment centres in the country.

The PTF Chairman also noted that Nigeria experienced a spike in the number of COVID-19 cases when the lockdown was relaxed.
However, he charged state governments to set up isolation centres to accommodate level one and two of isolation.
The SGF further urged individuals not to misuse the opportunity by returning to their Pre-COVID-19 ways of life as he stressed that President Muhammadu Buhari took a painful decision to ease the lockdown.
He also hinted that he had received instructions from President Buhari to bring in some of the Madagascar tonics from Guinea Bissau.
Meanwhile, Mustapha noted that the Madagascar tonic would go through validation processes in Nigeria.
