Nigerian music superstar, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has made himself a target for social media warriors, trolls, and stans after his tweets were interpreted to be targeted at Wizkid.
Odogwu, as he is fondly called by his fans, tweeted about his early days in the industry, and talked about how he rehearsed live with a particular band before he made his way to the top of the industry.
But core, die-hard fans of Wizkid swiftly attacked Burna, as they claimed that the tweet was meant to distract from Wizkid’s star moments, as he held a live virtual concert on YouTube at the same time.
Responding to all the heated backlash, Burna Boy seemed to deny trying to hog the spotlight with Wizkid, calling the Made In Lagos crooner his brother.
Meanwhile, the music icons, Wizkid and Burna Boy were recently spotted having together in pictures, having a great time. Apparently, there is no bad blood between them, but then the fans of each artiste might feel otherwise.
