Nigerian Presidency has issued a statement to confirm that President Muhammadu Buhari would address the nation on Monday.
The statement was issued via the Twitter handle of the Presidency few hours to the expiration of the two weeks lockdown that was earlier announced by the President when he addressed the Nation about Coronavirus, COVID-19 Pandemic.
The tweet reads, @MBuhari will broadcast to the nation on Monday, April 13, 2020, at 7 pm.

According to the Presidency, “Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of
@NTANewsNow and @radionigeriahq for the broadcast.
Meanwhile, many Nigerians have been itching to confirm if the Federal government would end or extend the lockdown order that was issued to restrict movement and enforce the sit-at-home measure in Abuja, Ogun and Lagos state respectively.
Earlier, the Federal Government has warned that relaxing or suspending some measures put in place to combat the Novel Coronavirus spread, especially the restriction of movement and social distancing, at this time would backfire.
Also, you will recall that President Buhari had earlier commended members of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) for their efforts in dealing with the pandemic as he was also briefed by the Vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on the economic response to the impact of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Osinbajo, who chairs the Economic Sustainability Committee told the President that the Committee was working on the appropriate economic response to the pandemic.
