The president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has confirmed 12 new appointments of government officials.
President Buhari confirmed the 12 new appointments in the Federal Civil service on Tuesday according to the Head of Service of the Federation (HoSF), Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan.
In a statemnet released by Mrs. Olawunmi Ogunmosunle who is the Director, Communications Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), it was made known that the swearing-in and deployment of the new permanent secretaries has not yet been done and would be announced to the public soon.
The appointees are part of a list of 41 directors that were previously shortlisted to fill 16 vacant permanent secretary positions in the civil service.
The names of the 12 new appointees are; Alkali Bashir Nura, Kano; Belgore Shuaib Mohammad Lomido, Kwara; Mahmuda Mamman, Yobe; Meribole Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, Abia; Akinlade Oluwatoyin, Kogi; Anyanwutaku Adaora lfeoma, Anambra; Ardo Babayo Kumo, Gombe; Tarfa Yerima Peter Adamawa; Mohammed Aliyu Ganda, Sokoto; and Udoh Moniloja Omokunmi, Oyo.
