Just a day after mocking social critic VeryDarkMan over his recent police troubles, popular Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky faced legal trouble himself as he was reportedly detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at Murtala Muhammed International Airport. Bobrisky, known for his outspoken persona and social media controversies, was reportedly intercepted by EFCC agents while preparing to board a flight out of the country.
The arrest relates to claims made in a viral audio recording that emerged in October, where an individual, allegedly Bobrisky, claimed to have paid the EFCC N15 million to halt a previous money laundering investigation. According to EFCC spokesperson Del Oyewale, the crossdresser had previously ignored a summons to address these claims, prompting the agency to act. Bobrisky, however, has denied any involvement in the recording and has claimed the voice in the audio is not his.
In the midst of this unfolding drama, Bobrisky posted on social media, stating he was “badly injured” during the arrest and appealing to his fans for support. This ironic twist has captivated followers of both Bobrisky and VeryDarkMan, as it adds yet another chapter to the ongoing feud between the two.
