Khosi’s words might be the most cruel as they leave Miracle in a state of heartbreak. He has shown his interest in her since he stepped into Biggie’s house and never has it been reciprocated. It is not unusual for romantic interest to remain unreciprocated, what is unusual is Miracle’s persistence despite seeing Khosi and Yemi play love everyday.
The partnership twist Biggie introduce to the game has tightened and made necessary the bond between Khosicle. It seems like when Yemi has relationship problem with her, she would always have a partner to fall back to and this reality has helped with keeping his misbehavior in check.
Khosi has realized the dynamics of her relationships and has been using it to her advantage, despite not liking Miracle, she is comfortable with his actions of affection that pushed Yemi to be a better in-house boyfriend to her. In clear terms, she is comfortable using him to make Yemi jealous.
Someone possessing emotional intelligence would realize this kind of action when given voice would hurt the parties involved. She didn’t take this into consideration, during her Valentine’s dinner date speech, she expressed her gratitude to Miracle.
Expressing genuine gratitude for how a person loves should be the theme of Valentine but it wasn’t so for Khosicle. She revealed to her partner that she is grateful of how well he keeps Yemi on his toe. She said this in front of everyone and despite Miracle’s lack of verbal reaction, it was obvious he wasn’t comfortable with it.
Her speech had the underlying meaning of, I am grateful you allow me continue to us to make Yemi a better man for me. It was hurtful and unnecessary.
