Things in the BBNaija Season 7 house become more emotionally catastrophic as feelings go awry. Groovy who was just recently transferred to the level 1 house, reveals his feelings to Chomzy in a conversation with her, in the process denying his newly established ship with Phyna.
BBNaija Season 7: Groovy and Chomzy Set to Start Ship
Groovy created one of the funniest zones to exist, “the mother zone” saying, he sees Phyna like a mother. Chomzy reciprocated this confession by “brotherzoning” Eloswag and denying whatever affection that might have been breeding between them.
The airing of Groovy and his trilogy relationship, has led to comments from both fellow housemates and fans. Doyin refers to Groovy as fake, just as Bryan did when he opined that Groovy is full of pretense and not ignorant of whatever underlying emotional warfare is going on.
Groovy’s rejection of Phyna to Chomzy, has turned into a sort of propaganda for Phynanation. Painting Phyna as the naive lady, manipulated by an emotional abuser and running with the story of Phyna being an emotional wreck and therefore deserving the best.
While it might seem that Groovy has shown total disregard for Phyna’s infatuation, going as far as tainting her as violent and crazy to Chomzy, it is noteworthy to recall that Phyna also showed the same disregard for her friend Beauty.
If she had respected Beauty, she would have avoided a situationship with Groovy, not referred to Beauty as toxic, and saved herself from the unfolding event.
Groovy’s game might be to leech on strong females as far as he can go, but the females are proving to be willing hosts. Chomzy despite seeing Groovy kiss Phyna during the Saturday night party remained cozy with him afterward.
Groovy’s character deficiency as shown in his inability to make a choice and be resolved has created relationships where the viewers experienced, drama with Beauty, comedy with Phyna, and at present, expecting action with Chomzy. He might be playing a game by being a national cake for females, but the purpose of BBN is to play a game, so we watch!
