Selection Process for BBNaija Season 7
In the recently released “Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)” on the BBNaija website, the organizers answered questions on the selection of housemates for the new season.
The FAQ disclosed that entries were received from the online auditions and screened for eligibility and suitability, with successful candidates further screened and the final shortlist selected after standard psych evaluations, interviews and medicals.
It further stated that the same rules applied for all Big Brother auditions; character checks and personality, amongst other things, were used to ensure the continued quality of housemates in the Big Brothers’ house.
The show which will run for 10 weeks will see the grand finale on Sunday, October 2, 2022, with the regular host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
The organizers revealed that the grand prize for the 2022 edition is N100m worth of cash and prizes.
BBNaija website also disclosed that Ninjas, who are an integral part of housemates’ experience in the house, will see a return since the lockdown edition.
The show will also welcome the return of the live audience who were unavailable in the sixth season, and the headline sponsor now goes by the brand name Pocket by Piggyvest and the associate sponsor is Flutterwave.
