On Naija FM, Saga claimed that the engagement video was from December 2022. He claimed that he was very shocked to discover that the private video of the engagement was trending online. Then much later, as the interview commenced, Saga revealed on air, “the video na skit”.
Yesterday, blogs rightfully published articles to the effect of Saga’s initial skit claim on Naija FM. Today on Arise Tv, Saga admitted, “Last time I was just here making jokes”. He claimed he wanted to keep his romance with Nini private.
He complained about the blogs calling his engagement a skit, “many people are dating us when we did not ask them to date us”. He claimed that he wanted to be the one to curate the narrative rather than have fan involvement.
Saga later clarified that the engagement was not a skit. He explained that on the day of the proposal, they had a brand engagement that is why they had pictures for a wine brand., However, Saga had already planned to propose to her that same day, hence the outfit.

He confessed that the engagement video was real but pleaded for fans to allow them to live their private lives.
