Big Brother unleashes major nomination shake-up as only Victory and Kayinkunmi escape eviction danger
Big Brother Naija Season 10 just delivered its most ruthless twist yet. In a dramatic turn of events, 27 housemates have landed on the chopping block for possible eviction, leaving just two contestants – Head of House, Victory and Kayinkunmi – safe for the week.
The shocker came during a special task that required all housemates, except the reigning Head of House, to find a hidden red envelope containing an immunity card. Despite the frantic search, not a single contestant located the envelope.
Big Brother wasted no time delivering the blow.
“Housemates, you all failed to find the right envelope. This means the whole house is automatically nominated for possible eviction,” Biggie announced.
The tension in the house was immediate and intense, as reality began to sink in. This twist means nearly the entire cast of the show could be facing eviction in just the second full week of the season.
The Tree of Trinkets Makes Its Debut
As if the red envelope twist wasn’t enough, Big Brother introduced a new feature this season — the Tree of Trinkets. This mysterious tree, unveiled by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, is expected to influence nominations and game outcomes going forward.
Victory, as the Head of House, was asked to pick a card from the tree. The card gave him the power to save one housemate from the mass nomination, but there was a catch. He was not allowed to save Otega, who had been labelled the “House Snail” after a poor performance in the HoH challenge.
After a brief pause, Victory made his decision. He saved Kayinkunmi, leaving every other housemate at risk.
A Packed House with a Huge Prize at Stake
This season of BBNaija launched with a two-day premiere that introduced 29 housemates in total. Female contestants were unveiled on July 26, followed by the male housemates on July 27.
With the entire house now under threat of eviction, fans are scrambling to rally behind their favourites. The stakes are higher than ever. The winner of BBNaija Season 10 will take home a record-breaking grand prize of ₦150 million – the biggest since the show began in 2006.
What Happens Next?
This week’s eviction round could shake the house to its core. Housemates will need to play smart, form alliances quickly, and hold their nerves as the votes roll in. Viewers, on the other hand, are gearing up for one of the most intense voting rounds BBNaija has ever seen.
