BBNaija 2021: How to Vote for Your Favourite Housemate

BBNaija 2021 launched on the 24th and 25th of July, respectively, with the male and female housemates introduced on different days.

So far, the housemates have grown to know each other, having different love interests, triangles and drama brewing.

However, the show has gotten to the phase where housemates get nominated and evicted. As a result of yesterday’s live nomination show, the voting lines are open, putting the power in the viewers’ hands to save their favourite.

Although, compared to past seasons, BBNaija 2021 gives more power to the DSTV and GOTV users, thereby scraping the SMS Voting. This year voting can be via the mobile site, Website, my DSTV and GOTV App only.

How to Vote

There are three possible ways to save your favourite Housemate from possible eviction this season.

Note that voting opens every Monday, 8 pm (9 pm CAT) and closes on Thursday, 9 pm (10 pm CAT)

Mobile Site – Africamagic. tv/BigBrother vote

To vote via the mobile site and Website, follow the easy steps below.

• Click on the Vote option.
• Select Register and enter your name, surname, year of birth, gender, location, cell phone number in the international format, e.g. +234531334527 and your preferred password.
• An OTP (One Time Pin) will be sent via SMS to the number you used.
• Enter your OTP 
• For registered users, select the Login option and fill in your details.
• Vote for your favourite Housemate

Note that Website votes are free, but data costs apply.

DStv or MyGOtv App (DStv subscribers with eligible packages only):

As a DSTV and MyGotv subscriber, you have additional votes, but these votes are based on your subscription package or tier.

To vote using the App, follow the steps;

• Download the App on either Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Log in by selecting your default country, use your surname or mobile number and your smartcard number.
• Once you’ve logged into your app account page, look for the “Vote Now” button.
• Note that you must be an active MyDStv or MyGOtv subscriber on one of the suitable packages to be eligible for these additional votes.
• Click on “Vote Now”, follow the instructions, and vote.

Voting Limits and Cost

One crucial piece of information is that each user may cast only 100 votes per voting platform per vote.

• Website voting – 100 votes 
• Mobile voting – 100 votes 
• DStv app or MyGOtv App – votes are allocated based on your subscription package/tier (active DStv subscribers in selected countries with eligible packages only)
