Vee has a weak point like every other human but who knew it would be this?
Vee (born Victoria Adeleye) was one of the Top 5 finalists in the BBnaija house and while some expected her to take the prize, she was the first to be cut out on the final day.
One thing that characterised Vee’s stay in the house was her intense love for Neo and even more intense fights with him over food. Surprised? Well, don’t be because in an interview with Ebuka after the show, she said
‘I don’t like to share food, food is my weak point’
Neo and Vee fell in love from the second week in the house and as is the norm with every relationship will hit rocky corners now and again but with the two lovebirds, their rocky corner was always located in the kitchen or wherever food was involved. All the fights they had while in the house except for the last was always about food. Let’s refresh our memories, shall we?
The first time was on a Saturday evening when Neo had eaten Semo that Brighto made while waiting for Vee to get dressed and while eating, she came out. Upon seeing Neo eating, she got upset and said that he was selfish for eating the Semo despite knowing that she doesn’t like it. In a bid to pacify her, he offered to make her another starch but she refused, causing another big rift between them.
The second instance was a few weeks to the end of the game when the two broke up for good and food was also involved in this fight. He had cooked and asked if she would eat but Vee said she was not sure. When Neo finished cooking, she came and joined him. While they were eating, the two had an inaudible conversation that led to Neo storming out of the dining area angrily. The two fought into the night for hours and that was when Vee said she would rather have Neo as a friend than a boyfriend at least for the period of their stay in the house.
While some viewers could not make out who caused this fights, Vee’s revelation today could serve as a hint, she doesn’t enjoy sharing food and found herself in a space where she had to sometimes. Isn’t that a recipe for disaster?
