The story of how former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu helped one of the BBNaija 2020 lockdown housemates, Kiddwaya go against the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC while he was serving in his state has been revealed.
Kiddwaya’s father, Terry Waya revealed the story while he was on a live Instagram session with his friend and popular Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu.
According to Terry, Orji Kalu helped Kiddwaya out of the state NYSC orientation camp and was saying in his house instead which was against the rules and regulations of the scheme.
He said getting to know that Kiddwaya was going to he camp daily from Orji Kalu’s house got him angry and had to ensure it was stooped immediately.
Terry disclosed that he had to tell the Coordinator in charge to ensure that Kiddwaya returned to the orientation camp and stay there as other corps members.
Kiddwaya’s father said he ensured that his son experience life at the Abia State camp, which obviously was not conducive for Kiddwaya.
Most NYSC camps in the different states across Nigeria are not conducive, with complaints of poor feeding, overcrowding and poor infrastructural facilities are constant for graduates mandated to spend about three weeks in there.
