Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission, Dr. Afolabi Adewakun says the State Government has promoted no fewer than 31,086 civil servants since the inception of the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu-led administration. While addressing journalists in his office at Alagbaka, Akure, Adewakun stated that the state government had been committed to the welfare of the workers in the state adding that the promotion exercise began in 2017. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has issued a warning about the possible explosion of Coronavirus, COVID-19 in the country. Director-General of the NCDC, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu made this known while speaking during an interview in Abuja. Justice Muniru Olagunju of the Oyo State High Court has sentenced a former staff of First Bank of Nigeria Limited, Oreoluwa Adesakin to a cumulative 98 years imprisonment for fraud.
