Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has congratulated Eyitayo Jegede on his emergence as the flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ondo State.
He also advised the PDP governorship candidate on things he needed to put in place to secure victory in the October 10 governorship elections in the State.
Atiku’s tweet about the PDP primary election reads “Congratulations @TayoJegedeSAN on your emergence as the candidate of the @OfficialPDPNig for the Ondo state governorship election coming up in October.
The former PDP Presidential Candidate noted that Jegede must forge a united front to win the election after his victory in what he described as a keenly contested primary election.
Atiku Advises Jegede On How To Secure Victory
Atiku emphasised that it is incumbent upon the party as one big, united family, to reach out to other contestants and stakeholders to build a formidable arsenal that will ensure clear victory at the polls.
You will recall that Jegede polled 888 votes to emerge the winner of the PDP primary elections held in Akure, the Ondo state capital defeating seven other contestants in the election.
