Armed Bandits Attack Oyo State, Kidnap Farmer
Could the horrific attacks in the Northern part of the country carried out by armed bandits and other miscreants and terrorists be spreading to other parts of the country?
This is a huge question on the minds of many now as some suspected gunmen struck and kidnapped a farmer in Oyo State.
On Monday, the gunmen abducted one Mr. Monsuru Aderoju, at Oke Agbede area of Igangan, a town in Ibarapa geo-political zone of the state.
EveryEvery.ng gathered that the kidnap of Aderoju, who is a cassava farmer, is coming barely three weeks after the abduction of a farmer along the old Ibadan/Oyo Road in Ibadan.

The abduction of Aderoju is coming hot on the heels of the killing of Mr Sherifat Adisa, a petroleum dealer who owns Subawah petroleum and two children just two days ago, as well as the kidnap of a medical doctor in Ibarapa North Local Government Area.
No fewer than five people have been kidnapped in the state in the last three weeks.
It has also been gathered that out of the five people kidnapped in the last three weeks, only one of them, Mrs Jimoke Oludele-Babalola has been released.
All these occurrences seem to be pointing to a very ugly trend of regular insecurity in the Western region of the country, carried out by armed bandits and the likes, and the people are right to be alarmed.
