Fighters of the Islamic State of West Africa Province, ISWAP, has launched a thoroughly thought out attack on the people of Chibok Local Government Area, LGA, in Borno State and claimed several lives in the process.
The report showed that no fewer than eight community residents lost their lives when the terrorists stormed the area and allegedly caused several other people to flee their houses and look for shelter elsewhere.
The BokoHaram affiliated group was said to have also burnt down a military base set when their men wreaked hi havoc in the remote village in Chibok LGA, as a source disclosed this information to journalists.
ISWAP Terrorists Invaded Around 7:00pm
According to the report, the terrorists gathered, the terrorists invaded Kautikari village in large numbers at 7:00pm and started shooting indiscriminately.
Meanwhile, vigilante sources in the area revealed that corpses were recovered from the bushes and two persons, which includes some that were burnt beyond recognition.
This, however, is not the first time the community has witnessed such attack as there have been series and even the particular abduction of school girls that happened during the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP administration, and brought the area to limelight.
