Big brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemate Angel in a recent interview, breaks down while she talks about the death of her boyfriend.
Recall that while the 21-year-old was in the big brother house, she talked about her late boyfriend on several occasions and how it impacted her life.
During one of her interviews after the show, Angel revealed her boyfriend died due to mental health issues. She said, “His death was mental health-related.” Adding that, people must open up when going through things.
She also believes people find a weakness in being vulnerable, and she was also that way. Narrating it, she said she felt that been vulnerable made her weak, and for men, it is a lot harder as there is a lot of toxic masculinity.
Answering how she copes with the absence of her boyfriend, Angel stated that when someone deals with grief, there are days one would feel okay and another day one gets up from bed and wants to be left alone.
“It is a lot of emotions.” She said.
But she recovered because she showed gratitude for the time she spent with him.
