INEC chairman in AnambraState was killed recently, and the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, alleges that Governor Hope Uzodinma has a hand in his demise.
The group categorically stated that the late chairman refused the Governor from installing his Ad-Hoc Staff to manipulate results in the forthcoming governorship elections.
The elections coming up on November 6, according to IPOB spokesperson, Emma Powerful, prompted that the state government had to act in that manner against the late chairman in order to secure the gubernatorial seat.
IPOB’s Text on INEC Chairman’s Death in Anambra
Statement reads in part:
“We want to warn Ndi Anambra again to be at alert and never allow HopeUzodinma to succeed with his evil plan. For those who don’t know, Hope Uzodinma murdered the INEC Chairman in Anambra State because he turned down Uzodinma’s request to bring his agents as ad hoc staff for the November 6 governorship election to perfect his rigging plan.”
