Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has mandated the Oodua anthem in both private and public schools in Ondo State.
Akeredolu, in a circular issued through the state Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, said the order affects all the private and public institutions from primary to tertiary level.
According to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr Akin Asaniyan, the Governor announced this at the International Culture and Event Center, during the inter-schools debate and award ceremony.
Akeredolu Mandates Oodua Anthem
Governor reportedly announced that Ondo state had adopted the Anthem, and it is to be recited by the state’s residents.
