Former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has been announced as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This decision was taken by the National Working Committee, (NWC) of the party, as the party tries to calm the storm rocking its boat in some states of the federation.
This development was announced in a statement in a statement released by the APC’s Publicity Secretary, Lanre Isaa-Onilu.
According to him the elevation of Ajimobi who was before now the National Deputy Chairman South of the party is in line with the party’s constitution.
This is coming after the suspension of the former National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomole, was affirmed by an Appeal Court.
It would be recalled that there has been rumours that Ajimobi is lying unconscious and in coma after allegedly suffering from complications related to COVID-19
