Ahmed Musa to make shocking move back to Nigeria
Everyevery.ng gathered that the 28-year-old will be joining Kano Pillars on what has been called a ‘flexible short-term deal’, which will keep him an active player since he is yet to secure a deal with a foreign team.
Reports suggest that the transfer has been completed, but there are just a few more details left to be settled to finalize the entire thing.
Musa has been inactive at club level since October 2020, when he departed Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia. Despite his inactivity, he retained his place in Gernot Rohr’s latest Super Eagles squads.
A return to Kano Pillars could revive his playing career, which is ultimately the star’s goal.
Musa had spent three years playing for the Kano club, plying his trade for them before his first European deal in the Netherlands with VVV-Venlo.
