Adamu Garba Says First Hearing To Start Soon
Former Presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba has replied singer, Peruzzi after he was questioned about the lawsuit filed against Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey.
Recall that Adamu Garba had sued Dorsey after he showed his support for the #ENDSARS protest across the nation and also accused him and ENDSARS organizers, feminist coalition of using the protest to promote and fund LGBTQ.
In a motion of notice submitted in the Federal High Court, Abuja, Garba asked the Twitter CEO to pay a fine of $1 billion naira in favour of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as compensation for loss of lives, properties and inconvenience as a result of his support for funding the #ENDSARS campaign after the issues of police brutality and extrajudicial killings have been attended to by the government.
This has got several Nigerians to mock Garba for making moves to sue the microblogging app CEO. In this regard, nigerian singer, Peruzzi took to social media to ask Garba about the progress so far.
He wrote, “Ermm @adamugarba How far you and Jack? Any progress?”
This got a reply from Garba, “Very much so, our first hearing should be before end of this month, hopefully. @Peruzzi”
Recall that Peruzzi had earlier called out the presidential aspirant stating that he should stop disgracing himself and not Nigerians.
