Dakore Egbuson Named As Juror For Paris International Film Festival
Award-winning Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, has confirmed her juror status for the Paris International Film Festival slated for February 4 -14, 2021.
The latest development was confirmed via statement released on Monday, November 23, 2020. In the statement, Akande described her new appointment as an opportunity to ‘become more inclusive’.
She also took to her Instagram page to share the big news to her over 1 million followers on Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Dakore captioned the post, “So thrilled and honored to be named as a juror for the 2021 edition of the Paris international film festival”
She then appreciated the Paris International Film committee for the honor to be named as a juror.
Popular Nigerian filmmaker, Mo Abudu, took to the comment section to congratulate the actress. In her words, “Congratulations dearest. Such a well deserved honour”
Dakore Egbuson won AMAA’s Best Actress 2018|Performing Artist. She has featured in several Nollywood movies as well as winning other awards.
