An Abuja High Court has finally set Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Centre free from any legal battle connected to the #EndSARS protest that rocked Nigeria in 2020.
Pastor Sam Adeyemi got dragged into a legal case after one Okeke filed a court case against him and several other Nigerian celebrities like Burna Boy, Davido, Falz, Deji Adeyanju, Tuface Idibia among many others.
According to Kenechukwu Okeke, his property was destroyed during the #EndSARS protest, making him sue the people who supported the movement.
However, Magistrate Omolola Akindele has halted the prosecution, while Justice Bello Kawu, has also restrained the Nigerian Police from taking any further action against any of the legal actions against the 50 defendants charged.
The clergy has however not said anything about the case or the new development, as many believe he does not have time for distractions and empty threats.
Some of the other Nigerians charged with Pastor Sam include social influencers like Ayo Sogunro, Japhet Omojuwa, Pamilerin Adegoke, Olorunrinu Oduala.
Kanu Nwankwo, Joe Abah, Kiki Mordi, Tope Akinyode, Yul Edochie, Uche Jombo, Feyikemi Abudu, Yemi Alade were not also missing on Kenechukwu’s list.
Singers like Peter and Paul Okoye, Banky W, Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, Ayo Balogun also found their names among those of their colleagues.
